An Afternoon of Beautiful Mathematics for Girls

Elementary and middle school girls and their families are invited to this event designed to engage the interest of students in Mathematics and Science. Participants will hear expository talks and can explore ideas more deeply via activities at the mentor-run discovery stations. This Diversity and Equity Initiative is presented by the Department of Mathematics at the University of Hawaii.

T3 Regional Conference. January 16-17, 2009. Two days of standards-based professional development that includes classroom applications of technology and ideas to help make your schools and classrooms more relevant to students' futures. Cost: $35 for HCTM members in good standing, $50 non-members (includes one-year HCTM membership; $20 students (includes one-year HCTM membership); $10 late fee for payments after December 15, 2008.
