A 100% carbon neutral event powered by the Hawai‘i State Energy Office, Blue Planet Foundation, the Hawaii Energy Efficiency Program and the Hawaii Energy Policy Forum to celebrate landmark energy bills passed in the 2009 legislative session and to raise awareness of HCEI’s pivotal role in securing Hawaii’s energy independence. The Hawaii State Energy Office and US Department of Energy, as the two founding partners for the Initiative, will present the new HCEI logo and the vision for the next steps for Hawaii’s clean energy future.
