How to use the Messaging system

Communicating with other SIP users is important in sharing ideas and information. Messages is another great tool in communicating with other users. Messages differ from discussion by being private, the message is seen only by the sender and its recipients.

1. Log in with your username and password on the SIP portal
2. Click "Messages"
   
3. The Messages page consists of all the message sent to you. You can view and delete your messages here.
   
4. To send a new message, click "Write new message"
   • Fill out the "To" box by entering the recipient's username.
   • If you don't know their username, just type in their first or last name and SIP will begin searching for that person's username.
     
   • Click their username to enter it to the field box.
   • You can enter more recipients by entering more username separated by commas.
5. Type your message
6. Click send
