Future Flight Hawai'i is a space-themed educational program designed to catalyze a child's interest in science, technology and the future. The participants experience a variety of training modules with a mission context. Over the past 17 years, over 7000 student and parent participants have voyaged on journeys of exploration to the moon, Mars, and our own Earth, the Blue Planet. The Future Flight Hawai'i Mission Control team includes professional educators from the Hawai'i Department of Education and private schools. The training modules and other program elements are designed by the staff educators, with contributions from Hawai'i Space Grant Consortium scientists and NASA resources.
Available programs include: Day Exploration (Kaua'i - grades 3, 4, 5, 6), RoboTech Exploration (Maui - grades 3, 4, 5, 6), Family Exploration (O'ahu - grades 2, 3, 4, 5 and one parent)
